Picky Eaters & Childhood Favorites: A Colorado Kid’s Lunchbox Staple

Growing up, I was a very picky eater.

I’m not exactly sure why I was so particular about food as a kid—maybe I was just hypersensitive to textures or hated trying anything even slightly different.

So, during almost every lunch period in elementary and middle school, I’d open my lunchbox and find a PB&J, a bag of grapes or chips, and one of those crunch yogurts.

Do you remember those YoCrunch yogurts where the top of the container would have some sort of candy like M&Ms, Snickers or Oreo pieces?

The Twix ones were my absolute FAVORITE as a kid!

You mix the sweet treats in with the yogurt for a sweet concoction, making you feel like a candy scientist.

Why YoCrunch Is Being Recalled Across Colorado

Danone U.S., the company that makes the yogurt issued a nationwide recall for some of their products earlier this week due to choking hazards. This is a “voluntary” recall due to the “potential presence of plastic pieces in the dome topper.”
