Costco Advises Texas and Louisiana Shoppers of Urgent Recall
(KMDL-FM) People in Louisiana and Texas work hard for their money. Those who don’t work hard for their money were probably elected to the job they have. Why Are Products Recalled? Who Recalls Them?
Not only is it frustrating that the item you spent money on doesn’t work, but there is also the risk of bodily injury or death that some people seem to want to shy away from as well. Then again, there are times when the items you’ve purchased are for your children, so in that case, product safety would certainly reign supreme.

The Food Safety Inspection Service from the USDA monitors some of the other food products we buy. And the Consumer Product Safety Commission watches out for us by warning of items that could have dangerous consequences when used by consumers.
There is also another level of defense when it comes to product safety for Americans. That would be the retailers that sell those products. They have a vested interest in keeping you safe with the products they sell. That’s why major retailers such as Target, Walmart, and Costco all have recall lists available on their websites.
